Turnip, Purple Top White Globe

This heirloom variety can be used as a storage turnip or eaten fresh when harvested at the 3-4" size. Smooth, round and white on the bottom and purple above the soil line.

Growing Information

Cool season crop. Direct sow ~10 seeds/foot. Thin to 3-4" spacing for smaller sized turnips, with rows 12" apart.
