Flax, Common

  • This variety of flax can be used for its edible flax seeds and can also be pressed to make flax oil (linseed oil). It makes a great addition to the garden with beautiful blue-purple flowers that attract beneficial insects and pollinators.

    Growing Information 

    Direct sow in May once ground can be worked. Plant 2-3 seeds per inch in rows spaced 6" apart.
