Bee Balm/ Wild Bergamot
This delightfully aromatic plant has fun, tubular light purple flowers that bumble bees, butterflies and hummingbirds love. It's wonderful to just sit beside on a summer day and listen to the hum of happy pollinators. The leaves and flowers are both edible having some medicinal uses and the flowers are a delightful addition to drinks and desserts adding a light minty flavour. Perennial in zones 3-10, blooms in its second year, grows 3-5 feet tall.

Growing Information
Surface sow, as they need light to germinate, indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost or direct sow after chance of frost has passed. Germination can take up to 14 days. Thin to 12-18" spacing.
