Chives

Fast growing perennial with deep green leaves. Adds a lovely mild onion flavour and can be used fresh, dried or frozen. Flowers in its second year and is hardy in zones 3-8.

Growing Information

Sow in groups of 10 seeds per soil block or pot indoors Feb-May. Transplant out once they have sized up to toothpick thickness. Space clusters 10-12" apart in the bed.
