Blanket flower

Blanket flower is one of the most delightful flowers i've grown. The bright orange and yellow petals look so happy in the garden. Perennial in zones 3-10, flowers in its first year (if planted early) and has a long blooming time. Once petals have fallen off the seeds heads make for a great pom pom looking dried flower. Grows about 3 feet tall and is drought tolerant.

Growing Information

Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Transplant once danger of frost has passed. Space 12" apart.
