Dark red on the edges, bright green towards the centre. Small romaine head perfect for container growing or tighter garden spacing. Slow to bolt and can be used for salad mix or cut in half for a "gem" type salad. Resistant to multiple strains of Sclerotinia (Lettuce Drop), and Verticillium Wilt.

Growing Information
Salad size- Direct seed 1/8" deep in a continuous row (thin to 1" spacing between plants) or transplant with 3-4" between plants in rows 4-6" apart.
Heads- Sow 1/8" deep in flats or pots and transplant at 8" spacing
