Heart's Ease/ Johnny Jump ups

A lovely addition to any garden. These small edible flowers are one of the first to bloom in spring and are beautiful on salads or cakes. Can grow in partial shade and does well in containers. When seeds are ready they spring out of their pods, a delight to see where they "jump up" the following year.

Growing Information

Sow seeds 1/4" deep (seeds should be covered with soil) in soil blocks or pots 8 weeks before last hard frost. Transplant out once a chance of hard frosts have passed. Space 6-8" apart. Can tolerate cooler temperatures.
